 The Wave Fits Jul 28, 2010
I'm really happy with this combo deal. I really wanted a split keyboard to fit the angle of my fingers but went this way instead. The relatively compact size fits better on my small desk and the angle of the keys is actually better than I thought it would be. The keyboard is very light but does not slide around with the rubber 'feet'. Key touch is light and quiet. The mouse is perfect for my hand but I'm having to get used to the side buttons at thumb level that toggle back or forward on surfing sites. The scroll wheel going left or right is most helpful on wide spreadsheets (great feature). And you CANNOT beat the price for what you get. I'd do it again.

I can't say this keyboard does a whole lot more than the one I bought with my computer, but the additional hot keys are great. My biggest problem is trying to remember what I've programmed for what key. I'm still not convinced the wave design makes it better. Overall, I'd give the package 4.5 stars if I could.

The key touch is lighter than the one it replaced, from Microsoft. I like this touch much better.

I really like the feel of the keys and the layout of the keyboard. It didn't take long to get the feel of the "wave". My wrists definately feel better after typing, and I like the assignable functions. The wireless range for me is fine, however, I do not go more than 2 feet away from my desk. The mouse is nice and has all the functionality I need as I have owned Logitech products before. My only down side, is that this mouse seems heavier and more sluggish to move even with a new hard surface mouse pad. This may be due to the fact that this is the first wireless mouse I have owned, and with the batteries it is a little heavier. The response time for the mouse is excellent though. Would definately recommend this product. I had looked at the next higher priced "wave", but for my purposes of everyday home use, this had all I needed.
